Wine and Gourmet Japan 2016 Your Gateway to the Japanese Wine, Beer, Spirits, Gourmet Food and Foodservice Market

The sixth edition of Wine and Gourmet Japan ended with stunning results. A record breaking 75,129 trade visitors, from all over Japan and abroad made their way to Tokyo Big Sight to attend the three-day event. The products presented include wine & spirits, beer, sake and gourmet food. Exhibitors from 21 countries came onto the international platform of Wine and Gourmet Japan.

With 11 country and regional pavilions, the show welcomed more groups than ever before. Apart from returning groups like Spain, Italy, Germany or Portugal, the new groups from Damyang (S. Korea), Udine (Italy), Sicily (Italy), and country pavilions from Georgia and Thailand presented their specialties. Another highlight of the show was the comprehensive seminar programs drawing over 700 attendees to the 24 seminars. In cooperation with Wine Kingdom, the well-established Wine Pairing and Label Contest returned to the show.

For the first time at Wine and Gourmet Japan, the inaugural “Night of Wines” gave Japanese wine professionals and overseas wine producers the chance to meet and network in a casual environment.
